RUBEN STEELL

 Amsterdam-based artist with Turkish roots, carries a deep connection to Istanbul, where he immersed himself in the city’s nightlife in 2021-2022 through his vibrant flyers, photography, and DJ sets. Known for his raw, bold, and unapologetically colorful work, Ruben’s visuals command attention, combining explicit themes and in-your-face graphics. His creative journey spans flyer design, collage paintings, and a history of producing beats for hip-hop artists worldwide, drawing heavily from the gritty energy of Memphis rap and the independent Soundcloud era of 2012-2014. Ruben’s art is a powerful reflection of underground culture, bridging his unique heritage with his fearless approach to visual storytelling.
